Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Staff Geologist to join our California team and support infrastructure projects under the guidance of a Senior Geologist. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Geologist In Training (GIT) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to environmental and engineering geological studies, evaluations, modeling, assessments, and investigations.
• Prepares work plans, interprets data and test results, contributes to technical reports.
• Prepares and reviews inspection and observation reports under supervision.
• Performs field investigations and coordinates laboratory testing.
• Prepares project documentation and reports for review.
• Reviews field testing and observation practices and work products.
