Weave is seeking a Staff GenAI Engineer to lead the Machine Learning Team focused on voice and audio modalities. You will shape AI-powered features and drive architectural coherence across engineering groups in healthcare communications.

With 15+ years in ML or AI and deep expertise in GenAI at scale, you will mentor engineers, improve observability, and deliver low-latency, reliable services on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS). Remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Machine Learning or AI, with a focus on audio/voice GenAI solutions at scale.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and scalable data stores.
• Proven track record delivering production GenAI features at scale.
• Experience with cloud-native infra (Kubernetes, IaC) on GCP or AWS.
• Strong ability to influence across teams and translate tradeoffs to business terms.

Responsibilities

• Design ML infrastructure, tooling, and models for scalable AI features.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives and maintain architectural coherence.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver healthcare AI solutions.
