Job summary

Weave is seeking a Staff GenAI Engineer to join the Machine Learning Team focused on voice and audio modalities. You will lead the design of AI-powered features and act as a technical leader bridging advanced ML with customer-facing products for healthcare customers.

You will architect scalable ML infrastructure, own cross-team initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape standards for observability and reliability in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in ML/AI with audio/voice GenAI at scale.
• Experience deploying ML-driven B2B multi-tenant apps.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture.
• Cloud-native infra on GCP or AWS.
• Strong cross-team leadership and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design ML infrastructure, tooling, and models for scalable features.
• Build internal/external platforms to embed AI into products.
• Translate product goals into engineering plans and scalable services.
• Coach and collaborate to elevate technical standards.
• Write high-quality, testable code in cloud environments.
