Job summary

Weave is seeking a Staff GenAI Engineer to join the Machine Learning Team focused on voice and audio modalities. You will lead architectural decisions, design scalable ML platforms, and drive AI-powered product features across teams, servicing 30,000+ healthcare practices.

This strategic leadership role requires deep MLOps expertise, cross-team collaboration, and mentorship. You will help Weave stay ahead in healthcare AI and ensure reliable, compliant systems in production.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying ML-driven B2B multi-tenant applications at scale.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and data-intensive services.
15+ years of experience in Machine Learning or AI, with a focus on audio/voice GenAI solutions at scale.
Proficiency with modern ML tools and techniques (LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Fine Tuning).
Strong background in scalable data stores (PostgreSQL, Vitess, Spanner; Bigtable, Redis).
Cloud-native infrastructure experience (GCP or AWS); Kubernetes and IaC.
Track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives and communicating tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Translate product goals into scalable, reliable services for data integration and event processing.
