Job summary

Weave is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Machine Learning Team specializing in voice and audio modalities, leading architectural decisions that bring AI-powered features to market for healthcare.

You will design platforms, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ML systems serving over 30,000 healthcare practices, with remote US-based work and reporting to the Sr Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering with leadership scope.
• 15+ years of ML/AI experience with audio/voice GenAI focus.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and cloud-native infra.
• Experience delivering ML-driven B2B multi-tenant applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML infrastructure, tooling, and models.
• Build platforms to enable AI in product features.
• Translate product goals into scalable data integration services.
