Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer - Data Products to build in-product insights on the Data Insights Platform and Knowledge Graph. You’ll anchor technical decisions across dashboards, graph ingestion, and data delivery, shaping early architecture in a 0 to 1 space.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to own outcomes across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments while mentoring engineers in design reviews and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience owning product or platform systems end to end across multiple teams at staff level.
• Strong fullstack skills in Go, Ruby, and Node.js.
• Hands-on data ingestion, integrations, or data access experiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect data ingestion and modeling within the Knowledge Graph and Data Insights Platform.
• Coordinate integrations with Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, and ServiceNow to add business context.
• Publish observability data via OpenTelemetry and expose data APIs for access.
• Mentor engineers and drive architecture proposals and roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
