Job summary

GitLab is hiring a Senior People Analytics Analyst for its People Technology & Analytics group. You’ll partner with People Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

You’ll design reports and dashboards, translate complex outputs into clear visuals, and apply statistical methods to reveal trends in people data. Onboard with GitLab training, and contribute to surveys and data pipelines.

Qualifications

Experience in analytics, preferably within People Analytics or Recruiting Analytics.
Ability to design and deliver dashboards and reports for executive audiences.
Strong SQL and scripting skills for data modeling and validation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve reporting and dashboards for cross-functional needs.
Translate outputs into clear visualizations and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Write advanced SQL to build scalable data models and troubleshoot data quality.
Collaborate with Data team to manage pipelines and automate workflows using AI where applicable.
Apply regression, forecasting, hypothesis testing, and survival analysis to people data.
Serve as SME for surveys: design, configuration, analysis, and results.
Own analytics intake, triage requests, and ensure value from reporting solutions.
Create documentation for data definitions, rules, methods, and reporting.
