Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer to join the AppCore Usage squad. This remote role welcomes US and Canada candidates, with ~75% backend and ~25% frontend work, delivering reliable billing and usage capabilities built in Go and TypeScript/React.

You will design, implement and operate services, collaborate across teams, participate in on-call, and mentor teammates while improving observability, deployment, and throughput of critical customer workflows.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience designing, delivering and operating production backend systems.
• Strong Go experience; frontend work with TypeScript/React is a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable in a remote team with asynchronous communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate backend services and APIs for billing, rates, usage and marketplace workflows.
• Develop backend in Go and contribute to TypeScript/React frontend features.
• Improve accuracy, reliability and automation of billing/usage workflows.
• Automate recurring tasks and maintain infrastructure including Kubernetes workloads.
• Plan deployments, migrations and monitoring with incident readiness in mind.
• Collaborate with product, Support, DealOps, GTM and other AppCore squads.
