Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff FullStack Engineer to join the Usage squad, building end-to-end customer usage and billing systems for Grafana Cloud. This is a 100% remote role with a global team and RSU-based compensation.

You will design and evolve full-stack applications using Golang/Node.js on the backend and TypeScript/React on the frontend, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product and operations to deliver scalable SaaS features.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with a large SaaS platform and distributed systems.
• Strong backend (Golang/Node.js) and frontend (TypeScript/React) skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and evolve full-stack web apps, customer portals, and backend services.
• Develop backend APIs (Golang, Node.js) and intuitive UIs using TypeScript/React.
• Design and maintain integrations with external platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, cloud marketplaces).
• Develop and automate business logic for usage metering, pricing, promotions, and billing reconciliation.
• Collaborate with product, DealOps, GTM, Support, and AppCore squads to deliver features.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, and resilience; address tech debt.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; shape long-term technical direction.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, design reviews, and OnCall improvements.
• Own production behavior, runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and rollback controls.
