Healthie in New York City is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to help drive the evolution of our platform across legacy and new product development in a fast-moving healthcare environment. You will collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Platform, and Engineering to architect, build, and scale systems powering healthcare workflows for providers and patients.
The role values technical judgment, mentorship, and the ability to balance long-term vision with hands-on delivery in a hybrid NYC
Qualifications
- 8+ years of production software experience.
- Strong full stack ownership across backend, frontend, APIs.
- Direct experience with Rails, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, Capybara.
- Ability to evolve legacy systems while balancing speed and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and scale systems powering healthcare workflows.
- Lead across backend and frontend development, API design, and platform improvements.
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across teams.
- Balance long-term technical vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
