Job summary

Healthie is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack & Tech Lead for New Billing to guide architecture and development of the systems powering provider payments. You’ll own end-to-end delivery across Ruby on Rails monolith, backend services, GraphQL APIs, and front-end experiences (React/TypeScript).

In this hybrid NYC role you’ll set technical direction, mentor engineers, partner with Product and Design, and drive an AI-enabled engineering culture to accelerate velocity while maintaining

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production systems across the full stack.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Experience designing backend services, data models, and APIs.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams.
