United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead frontend architecture for our UI foundation in a Hybrid San Francisco Bay Area setting. You’ll own architecture, drive performance, and empower teams with AI‑driven tooling.

You’ll influence technical direction, mentor senior engineers, and partner with product, design, and infra teams to deliver scalable, world‑class frontend platforms.

Qualifications

• Real world software engineering experience at Staff level or equivalent scope.
• Deep frontend architecture expertise (React or similar) with infra and tooling instincts.
• Experience improving frontend performance at scale and shipping internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve frontend platform architecture including module boundaries and state management.
• Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks; establish budgets and guardrails.
• Build and maintain build systems, local dev envs, CI/CD pipelines, linting, and internal tooling.
• Identify bottlenecks and automate with AI-agent-driven workflows; drive continuous improvement.
• Set technical direction and mentor senior engineers; review cross‑team proposals.
• Collaborate with product, design systems, and platform teams to solve real pain points.
