Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape frontend architecture, deliver complex features in React with TypeScript, and raise engineering standards across the team.

You will own features end-to-end, drive accessibility, performance, and reliability, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, design, and backend squads to craft scalable user experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production frontend software with ownership
• Strong React and TypeScript expertise in modern web apps
• Deep experience with Material UI and design system patterns
• Ability to build accessible, high-quality UI components
• Proven track record of clean code and well-designed APIs
• Experience debugging cross‑browser frontend issues and performance
• Comfort leading work across teams and communicating decisions
• Curiosity to learn and apply new AI-enabled UX approaches

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality React applications using TypeScript and MUI
• Build and maintain shared UI components, themes, and design tokens
• Turn product needs into clear technical plans and milestones
• Own features from design through testing, release, and support
• Define and uphold frontend engineering standards (accessibility, performance)
• Identify risks and dependencies early and align stakeholders
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams for scalable UX
• Help define AI product experiences focusing on usability and safety
• Mentor teammates and improve frontend practices
