Job summary

You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, apply cloud-native principles, and collaborate with product, design, data and engineering teams to build resilient, data-driven solutions that advance the Walmart marketplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 4 years’ software engineering experience.
• Or 6 years’ experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks.
• Drive full software lifecycle activities: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles for scalable, resilient systems.
• Lead system design reviews to validate quality and architectural alignment.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components for automation.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions to promote excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
• Continuously improve processes and products through data-driven decision making.
