Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Front End Engineer to lead frontend direction for Zūm while remaining hands-on.

This HQ-based role manages an engineering team in Ukraine, collaborates with Product and Backend teams, and owns the Angular frontend for dispatch, school, vendor, and maps portals. You will set architectural standards, push AI tooling, and mentor engineers, ensuring fast, clean frontend execution aligned with product goals.

Qualifications

Senior+ or Staff-level frontend engineering with leadership experience.
Strong Angular knowledge and RxJS/reactive UI patterns.
Experience leading or mentoring engineers across distributed teams.
Experience building enterprise, data‑dense web applications.
Interest in AI‑driven automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

Own frontend decisions and architecture across Angular codebase (state management & reactive UI).
Lead Ukraine-based frontend team; unblock problems and contribute prod code.
Collaborate with PMs and backend to ship reliable frontend systems.
Drive AI tooling adoption to speed up development.
Consolidate frontend tech lead responsibilities across the team and mentor engineers.
