Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Front End Engineer to lead frontend direction for our data-dense enterprise portals from the Redwood City HQ. You will own architecture for dispatch, school, vendor, and maps surfaces while contributing code and mentoring a distributed team in Ukraine.

You’ll collaborate with product and backend teams, align with design in Figma, and champion AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery. This role is onsite three days a week in California.

Qualifications

• Senior+ or Staff-level frontend experience with leadership.
• Strong hands-on Angular experience and quick contribution.
• Experience with reactive UI patterns and RxJS.
• Experience building enterprise, data-dense web apps.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers across distributed teams.
• Genuine interest in AI-driven automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own front end technical decisions and architecture across Angular codebase.
• Lead the Ukraine-based frontend team technically and unblock hard problems.
• Collaborate with PMs and backend engineers to ship reliable frontend systems.
• Push AI tooling adoption and drive faster frontend delivery.
• Set architectural standards for state, data density, and reactive patterns.
• Mentor engineers on the Ukraine-based team and align HQ hours.
