Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (Staff) specializing in Kubernetes, platform modernization, and large-scale stateful workload migrations. You will embed with enterprise client teams end-to-end, from architecture through live field troubleshooting and production rollout.

Responsibilities include building prototype integrations, writing production code in the field, and shaping platform capabilities with ISG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 12+ years related engineering and field experience with enterprise-grade platforms.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise client teams from discovery to go-live and stabilization.
• Collaborate with core software teams to reduce deployment friction and improve platform adoption.
• Write production code in the field, build prototype integrations, and push improvements back to ISG.
• Architect and operate production-grade VKS clusters across VCF and hybrid cloud.
• Migrate bare metal and legacy stacks to Kubernetes targets.
• Deploy and scale AI inference workloads and vector search on Kubernetes.
• Containerize and migrate heavy stateful engines and messaging systems to Kubernetes.
• Guide clients on multi-Kubernetes deployments (OpenShift, EKS, GKE, AKS, Rancher).
