Job summary

Canva is seeking a Staff Finance Systems Engineer focused on Order to Cash and revenue recognition. You will own the multi-system architecture across ERP, billing and revenue platforms, partnering with Finance and Engineering to reduce SOX risk and deliver credible technical proposals.

You will shape cross-system change across NetSuite, Zuora, and related data platforms, driving continuous improvements and data integrity in a fast-growing, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance systems engineering
• Deep hands-on experience in Order to Cash and revenue recognition
• Public company / SOX environment experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Own system and process improvement projects across Revenue Platform Engineering, Finance Data Platform, Business Data Platform and Finance Revenue Operations
• Triages major changes to NetSuite, Zuora and related integrations
• Maintain knowledge of adjacent systems to assess cross-system impact and data integrity
• Support SOX/ITGC controls and audits for data accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with Finance leadership and external vendors to align architecture with business needs
• Continuously assess system performance and identify optimisation opportunities
