Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect – Enterprise Systems to own the design, integration, and evolution of the enterprise application ecosystem across defense and GovCon programs. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, secure solutions and act as the technical authority for enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; 8–12 years in enterprise application architecture or related fields; 4+ years in defense, GovCon, or federal government environments.
• Experience architecting enterprise solutions for DoD/IC programs with classification boundaries and government compliance.
• Hands-on with major enterprise platforms such as Azure Government or AWS GovCloud; knowledge of RMF/DFARS/NIST guidelines.
• Active Secret clearance at hire; TS eligibility preferred; travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise application architecture across GovCon and defense programs (ERP, CRM, ITSM, HR/Recruiting, program management).
• Design secure, interoperable solutions meeting DoD/IC requirements, including data residency and access control.
• Oversee integration between enterprise apps and mission systems across hybrid on-premise, cloud, and air-gapped environments.
• Define API strategy and standards; lead RESTful and event-driven integration designs; liaison with government customers and prime contractors.
