Job summary

CHAOS Industries in Washington, DC is hiring a Senior Business Application Architect to own the design, integration, and evolution of our enterprise application ecosystem across defense and GovCon programs. This senior IC role sits at the intersection of business process, systems design, and mission requirements, partnering with program leads and government stakeholders to define architecture strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8–12 years of progressive enterprise architecture/solutions experience.
• Active Secret clearance; TS eligibility preferred.
• Experience with DoD or IC programs and government compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise architecture blueprint across GovCon and defense environments.
• Design secure, interoperable solutions for ERP/CRM/ITSM and program management platforms.
• Architect and oversee integration between enterprise apps and mission systems across hybrid on‑prem and cloud.
• Define API strategy and standards; lead RESTful and event‑driven integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture specifications; liaise with government customers.
