Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design, lead, and govern our cloud infrastructure strategy across defense and GovCon environments. You will own architecture from concept through delivery, partnering with ISSMs, program managers, and engineers to ensure mission-ready, compliant solutions.

You will drive AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov platform strategy, implement zero trust networks, and supervise secure connectivity between classified and unclassified environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, infra engineering, or solutions architecture; 4+ years in DoD/IC/federal programs.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tooling and CI/CD security.
• Active Secret clearance at time of hire; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise cloud architecture across GovCloud, Azure Government, and on-premise/hybrid environments.
• Develop cloud architecture documentation and ATO supporting artifacts aligned to NIST RMF, ICD 503, and FedRAMP.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards including Zero Trust, IAM, and encryption.
• Lead migration planning, evaluate on-prem workloads, and oversee delivery.
• Architect secure, highly available cloud topologies and cross-domain connectivity.
