Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Member of Technical Staff to build and operate automation for dependencies across a large service fleet. You will own feature-level work on the pipelines that discover vulnerable packages, decide what to upgrade, open fix PRs across many repositories, and track those fixes through to deployed production artifacts.

This role targets engineers strong in pipeline and automation and offers training on CVE, CVSS, SBOM, SLSA, and Sigstore as you grow into software supply chain

Qualifications

• 3 years software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Fluent in at least two of Node.js, Go, Ruby
• Experience with data pipelines (batch/streaming)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to data pipelines ingesting vulnerability data and SBOM artifacts.
• Build and maintain batch and streaming jobs with idempotent steps and retries.
• On-call for pipelines and reduce toil through automation.
• Collaborate with service owners and write design docs and PRs.
