Salesforce is seeking a deeply technical software engineer to lead end-to-end development of security data pipelines and architectural components. You will own system design for endpoint protection platforms and drive platform reliability across multiple teams and time zones.

The role emphasizes building scalable APIs, setting engineering standards, and mentoring peers while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and ensure secure cloud infrastructure.

Competenze

7+ years of core software development experience across multiple languages and platforms.
Strong foundation in database engineering, API development and data pipelines.
Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
Proven ability to deliver large projects end-to-end and release to public.
Experience with infrastructure hardening and operational reliability.

Mansioni

Lead end-to-end software development across security data pipelines from ingestion to stores.
Own system architecture for endpoint protection platforms with SDRs/ADRs.
Improve platform reliability via monitoring, alerting and hardening.
Design and build APIs and services including REST API optimization.
Set engineering standards for code quality and documentation.
Mentor engineers through PR reviews, sprint planning, and deep dives.
Collaborate with security architects and platform teams for clean integration.
Support on-call operations across time zones.
