S&C Electric Company is seeking a Staff Engineer - Torque Tool Strategy to join our Advanced Manufacturing group. You’ll lead development, implementation, and maintainability strategy for torque tool deployment across multiple facilities, integrating torque solutions with MES/ERP systems to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in high-volume manufacturing and a strong background in DFMA, lean six sigma, and manufacturing systems design. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing processes in high-volume manufacturing.
• Expertise in value stream mapping, lean six sigma, DFMA, and manufacturing systems design.
• Proven track record leading projects with scope, schedule, and cost targets.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement scalable torque tools strategy from specification through installation and maintenance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and IT/IoT teams for tool selection and process integration.
• Collaborate with vendors to identify top torque tools and control systems for enterprise deployment.
• Develop standard work, preventive maintenance plans, and programming parameters.
• Lead torque system, ERP, and MES integration for data collection and process control.
