Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Solid Waste practice in Marlton, NJ, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, PMs, CAD designers, and staff to service client needs. The role covers solid waste, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, water resources, stormwater, and related construction administration.

The position supports projects at multiple ARM Group locations, with requirements to prepare reports, perform calculations, travel to job

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze possible problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Use the principles of civil and environmental engineering to develop solutions to environmental problems.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, emails, permit applications, etc. for projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on project and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
• Effectively communicate with key stake holders including project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
• Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
