Job summary

ARM Group seeks a Staff Engineer to join our Solid Waste practice, collaborating with engineers, scientists, PMs, CAD designers, and staff on a wide range of environmental projects. The role involves design reviews, field observations, calculations, and preparing reports across multiple disciplines while traveling to project sites across our locations.

This position emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving, with opportunities for growth and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel to job sites, including overnight stays.
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze possible problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Develop solutions using civil and environmental engineering principles.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, emails, and permit applications.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with project manager, project engineers, and team members.
• Proactively recognize non-routine conditions and develop solutions.
