Job summary

ARM Group is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Solid Waste practice. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, scientists, project managers, CAD designers, and staff to service client needs across solid waste management, environmental services, and geotechnical projects.

The position can be filled at multiple ARM Group locations: Hershey, PA; Columbia, MD; Marlton, NJ; West Chester, PA; Newtown Sq, PA.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze possible problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Use the principles of civil and environmental engineering to develop solutions to environmental problems.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, emails, permit applications, etc. for projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on project and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
• Effectively communicate with key stakeholders including project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
• Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
