Job summary

Arm-Group-LL is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our established Solid Waste practice. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, project managers, CAD designers, and staff to service client needs across solid waste management and related disciplines.

You will prepare drawings and reports, perform calculations, and communicate with project stakeholders. Travel to job sites is required, supporting a growing and well-supported program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and occasionally overnight stay.
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze possible problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Use civil/environmental engineering principles to develop environmental solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, emails, and permit applications for projects.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deliverables and gain experience.
• Effectively communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively recognize conditions and seek guidance when needed.
