Job summary

Arm-Group is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our solid waste practice, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to service diverse environmental projects in civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering. The role includes design drawings, field observation, and producing technical reports, with opportunities for growth and travel to multiple ARM Group locations, including Marlton, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Self-starter with strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze potential problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Develop solutions using civil and environmental engineering principles.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, emails, and permit applications.
• Collaborate with team to meet deliverables and gain experience.
• Communicate with project manager, engineers, and team members.
• Identify non-routine conditions, propose solutions, and seek guidance.
