Job summary

ARM Group is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Solid Waste practice, collaborating with engineers, scientists, PMs, CAD designers and staff to service client needs across solid waste management, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, water resources, stormwater, erosion control, and construction administration.

The role supports multiple locations, including Hershey, PA; Columbia, MD; Marlton, NJ; West Chester, PA; Newtown Square, PA, with travel to job sites and occasional

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Self-starter with strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work on multiple projects in parallel.
• Willingness to travel to job sites, overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations.
• Apply civil and environmental engineering principles to develop solutions.
• Prepare reports, letters, emails, permit applications, for projects.
• Collaborate with team to meet deliverables and gain experience.
• Communicate with project manager, engineers, and team members.
• Identify non-routine issues, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
