French & Parrello Associates is seeking a Staff Engineer in Wall, NJ to support the Highway/Traffic Department. The role focuses on roadway and traffic plan design, data collection, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 0–2 years of experience, and an EIT or progress toward it. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic analysis tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Basic knowledge of roadway/traffic engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and preparation of roadway and traffic plans.
• Support traffic studies such as impact studies and signal analyses.
• Collect data, perform counts, and analyze field observations.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and documentation.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro and/or HCS.
• Coordinate with internal teams and attend meetings.
• Support construction phase services and field inspections.
