French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Project Manager for our Highway Department in Wall or Camden, NJ to lead design efforts on transportation projects including highway reconstruction, safety improvements, and bridges. The role requires seasoned leadership, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D or MicroStation, and a PE license, with the ability to manage scope, budget, and client communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience.
• PE license is required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation design software.
• Experience in management and design of roadway, traffic, and/or bridge improvement projects (NJDOT or PennDOT experience a plus).
• Well versed in local and national design standards.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles a plus.
• Highly motivated to work on diverse transportation projects for local, county, and state agencies.
• Willingness to represent FPA at professional societies and technical seminars.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop design documents for transportation improvement projects using AutoCAD Civil3D or MicroStation.
• Provide construction support services as needed.
• Complete assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with staff within the transportation group and across disciplines on larger projects.
• Delegate tasks to staff engineers and oversee their work.
• Monitor project schedule, budget, and staffing needs.
• Engage in client contact and communications.
• Work with Regional and Department management on proposals and business development as needed.
