French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead highway and traffic projects, overseeing planning, design, permitting, and construction support. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure adherence to standards.

The role requires a NJ-licensed PE with 12+ years of transportation experience, strong client relationships, and business development capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required; New Jersey PE preferred or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 12+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience with increasing project management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing roadway, highway, traffic, intersection, and transportation improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of NJDOT, PennDOT, county, and municipal transportation design standards and procedures.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation design software.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client relationships.
• Experience leading proposal efforts and supporting business development activities.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing engineering staff.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and transportation planning concepts preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Existing relationships with transportation agencies throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Experience serving as Engineer of Record on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Complete Streets, Vision Zero, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, traffic calming, and roadway safety improvement projects.

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Highway & Traffic Department in Camden, NJ. The successful candidate will lead the planning, design, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of transportation infrastructure projects, including highway reconstruction, roadway safety improvements, complete streets initiatives, intersection improvements, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and other transportation-related projects. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, client relationship management, and business development experience.

Core Responsibilities

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
