Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Engineer for the HBM Product Engineering Component Validation team to validate advanced High Bandwidth Memory products. You will contribute to verification scope, run validation plans, and drive debug toward a zero-escape goal across test modes and product milestones.

You will use Linux, Python/C/C++, Verilog and UVM, with strong memory technology expertise, to analyze failures, perform root-cause investigations, and collaborate across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong DRAM/HBM memory architecture knowledge.
• Experience reading and debugging circuit schematics to isolate failures.
• Post-silicon validation, root-cause and electrical failure analysis experience.
• Proficient in Linux and Python/C/C++, Verilog, UVM, and version control (git/svn/Perforce).

Responsibilities

• Translate DRAM/HBM develop intent and architecture into verification scope and test cases.
• Contribute to validation of new features with Design Validation and Systems Engineering.
• Review design specs, schematics, and datasheets, provide design feedback.
• Read, analyze, and debug circuit blueprints to detect failure mechanisms.
• Perform root-cause analysis and differentiate process/test-related issues.
• Apply automation and tooling (Python, C/C++, Verilog, UVM) to improve efficiency.
• Adopt AI-enabled workflows to accelerate validation and turnaround times.
