Job summary

Micron is seeking a Principal Engineer for the HBM Product Engineering Component Validation team. You will validate advanced High Bandwidth Memory products, lead debug and failure analysis, and drive zero-escape validation across modes and products.

Expect collaboration across locations and adoption of AI-enabled tooling. The role requires a strong DRAM/HBM background, post-silicon validation experience, and programming in Python, C/C++, Verilog/UVM on Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant memory semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong understanding of DRAM/HBM memory technologies and verification strategies.
• Experience reading/debugging schematics and post-silicon validation.

Responsibilities

• Translate architecture into verification scope and test cases.
• Validate new high-risk features with Design Validation and Systems Engineering.
• Review specifications and provide design feedback in reviews.
• Read, analyze, and debug circuit blueprints to diagnose failures.
• Perform root-cause analysis and electrical failure examination.
