Job summary

FinOps Weekly is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning within the FinOps and Cloud Optimization team. You will partner with engineering, business, and finance to improve spend visibility and governance, while guiding technical execution across UI, microservices, and Kubernetes deployments.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), and experience with Python, Django, gRPC, Kafka and Spark.

It focuses on leading FinOps engineering work that supports cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.The role partners with business leaders, engineers, partner teams, and financial controls stakeholders to improve spend visibility, governance, and reporting.
