Job summary

S27a is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to sit at the center of customers, internal stakeholders, and engineering. You’ll work with product, sales, clinical operations, and customers to shape Clara’s behavior and ship changes that matter in the real world.

This role blends engineering with customer-facing work, requiring hands-on work on voice AI systems, product feedback, and per-customer customization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a role combining engineering with cross-functional or customer-facing work
• Hands-on experience building voice AI or conversational AI systems (STT/TTS, LLM-driven dialogue, real-time voice agents)
• Comfortable writing and reading TypeScript/Node.js; capable of shipping features and reviewing PRs
• Strong written and verbal communication across clinical operations, sales, and engineering
• Track record of identifying product gaps from stakeholder conversations and driving resolution
• Self-directed and able to work across teams with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

• Support customer relationships post-sale as a technical point of contact
• Translate stakeholder needs into product by collaborating with sales, clinical ops, and engineering
• Ship customer-specific changes using strategy files and tune prompts, end-to-end
• Drive product improvement with broad exposure to customers and internal teams
• Support implementation including onboarding, EHR integration discovery, use case scoping, go-live coordination
• Improve operations by building internal tooling and runbooks
