Job summary

Foundation Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to own critical architectural decisions for our production AI platform in the healthcare domain. You’ll write code, shape multi-component systems, and ensure delivery aligns with product milestones across Epic integration and patient communications.

You’ll work in a fast-moving, Series A environment with a greenfield stack (Node/TypeScript/GCP) and no legacy code.

Qualifications

• Track record of building complex systems from scratch.
• High agency to act without a perfectly scoped ticket.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience using AI tools daily and integrating AI features.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural design decisions for core platforms.
• Write code and review code, delivering tangible improvements.
• Deliver across a workstream with cross-team dependencies and milestones.
• Ensure shipping software solves user problems and integrates with Epic workflows.
