Job summary

Cloud Campaign is seeking a Staff Engineer to own CloudStudio, our agentic social media manager, and to be a hands-on technical leader across engineering.

CloudStudio automates social content from intake to scheduled posts, with a fast-growing adoption. You will shape technical direction, design scalable systems, and collaborate with executive leadership to align on the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production software with a track record of technical leadership.
• Experience leading multi-engineer projects with scoping, breaking down work and coordinating delivery.
• Strong system design judgment and long-term evolution thinking for architecture.
• Depth in at least one of Go, Java, or Python, with front-end capability in React/TypeScript.
• Modern AWS experience including CI/CD, IaC, logging, metrics, and alerting; production data stores (Postgres, DynamoDB).
• Proven testing strategy mindset, not just willingness to write tests.
• Excellent communication to align across engineering and non-engineering teams.
• Interest in building the next major product features and roadmaps.
• Experience shipping LLM or agentic systems to production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and architecture of CloudStudio as it scales from early access to a core part of the product.
• Decide what CloudStudio should become, and advocate for it across the company with leadership.
• Design how the system maintains quality at volume, including evaluation of generated content and cost/latency management.
• Push toward genuine autonomy, expanding system responsibilities as quality improves.
• Define how AI fits in the broader product and defend the chosen approach.
• Contribute to platform rebuild and ensure CloudStudio works across both current and new systems.
• Expand automated test coverage and own the team’s quality bar with one QA engineer.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.
