Jane is seeking a Staff Engineer to help shape the long-term infrastructure vision and scale the platform for growth. You will work with senior engineers to break down strategic goals into deliverable pieces, drive cross-team collaboration, and champion changes that improve reliability and efficiency across the cloud stack.

You will lead initiatives that combine cloud engineering, security, and AI tooling, with emphasis on scalable design and pragmatic execution.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise with AWS multi-region deployments and high-scale services.
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform.
• Experience architecting scalable, reliable AWS-based systems.
• Experience operating databases at scale, with scaling and capacity planning.
• Proven track record driving large projects and stakeholder consensus.
• Experience scaling infra in fast-growth companies.

Responsabilités

• Set long-term infra vision alongside staff engineers.
• Lead on hard, ambiguous problems across teams.
• Champion change and build consensus for infrastructure improvements.
• Provide technical leadership for new features and architectures.
• Improve operational health and reduce noisy alerts.
• Collaborate with Application Security to harden infrastructure.
• Bring AI-positive mindset to tooling while managing blast radius.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
