Job summary

Care Lumen is seeking a senior cloud architect to lead the platform’s transition to a cloud-based, observable environment. You will own the technical direction, design, and governance, partnering with client engineering leadership to minimize risk and drive secure, scalable outcomes.

Responsibilities include stabilizing the current stack, migrating to AWS (EKS/S3), and building IaC foundations with Terraform and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Proven AWS solution architecture experience with EKS, S3, VPC, IAM.
Hands-on migrations of production on-prem workloads to the cloud.
Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and production Kubernetes.
Observability design using OpenTelemetry and SigNoz (or Grafana/Prometheus).
Architectural fluency across Django/React/Go stack.
Strong design documentation discipline for delivery alignment.
Client-facing leadership with a customer CTO.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical architecture for the platform as we stabilize and cloud-migrate.
Harden on-premise deployment; improve fault detection and observability for video feeds.
Migrate NFS storage to AWS (EKS/S3) while preserving pipelines.
Produce cloud architecture design, data-migration plan, and IaC foundation (Terraform, Kubernetes).
Set architectural direction for the delivery team and document decisions clearly.
