Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Staff Engineer focused on AI Productivity, based in the United States. This hands-on technical leadership role owns infrastructure, tooling, integrations, and documentation to empower AI coding agents across a large codebase.

You will drive internal tooling, MCP server work, and agent documentation while shaping practices for AI-powered development and mentoring engineers across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals for large backend codebases.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Devin).
• Experience creating agent documentation and context files to improve AI output.
• Proven track record building developer tools and internal platforms used by engineers.
• Comfort across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, internal tooling, and application code.
• Ability to work with ownership and autonomy in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AI development environments for independent operation in cloud/containers.
• Build integrations with CI/CD, source control, observability, and monitoring platforms.
• Develop MCP servers and agent-tooling integrations.
• Maintain repo-wide AI documentation and agent instructions, skills, and context files.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and address AI productivity bottlenecks.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve AI-assisted development effectiveness.
• Contribute hands-on to engineering projects while guiding best practices.
