Hightouch is seeking a Staff AI Productivity Engineer to enhance the productivity of our engineering organization using AI coding tools. This hands-on role focuses on building infrastructure, tools, and documentation for AI agents, ensuring they function effectively across our codebase.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering skills, experience with AI coding agents, and a passion for creating valuable developer tools. You will lead efforts to enable AI-assisted development, ensuring innovative solutions and improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals—can dive into complex backend code quickly.
• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents.
• Experience writing effective agent documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the agentic development environment for effective agent operations.
• Build tooling integrations connecting agents to necessary systems.
• Create documentation supporting agent understanding for building software.
