Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff based in the United States to build production-grade software for complex legal workflows, blending API-driven backend services with AI integrations.

You will own features from design through release, collaborate with distributed engineers and domain experts, and emphasize reliability, performance, and quality in every release, with opportunities to influence product direction.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript with production-ready code.
• Experience designing and operating reliable APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on with APIs, databases, cloud infra, and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production apps.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across distributed teams.
• Ownership mindset and ability to balance reliability, performance, and usability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and document-processing workflows.
• Own core features from design through release, monitoring, and iteration.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into production workflows with quality and performance.
• Develop user-facing interfaces for complex document tasks across the stack.
• Translate user needs into engineering plans and justify technical decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers and legal-domain experts in a distributed environment.
• Investigate issues, optimize performance, and improve testing and reliability.
• Contribute to engineering standards via code reviews and improvements.
