Job summary

Procore Technologies is seeking a Staff Engineer, AI Automation and Orchestration to join the Government Engineering team in Austin, TX. This hybrid role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable platform services within FedRAMP boundaries.

You will lead migrations to compliant infrastructure, implement IAM with SAML/OIDC, RBAC, and zero-trust, and enforce NIST-aligned cryptography. Mentoring engineers and leveraging AI tools are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or infra engineering with FedRAMP experience (AWS GovCloud a plus).
• Proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, or Python for platform automation.
• Strong IAM, SAML/OIDC, RBAC, and zero-trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform services for cloud traffic and identity under FedRAMP.
• Lead migrations to centralized, compliant infra pipelines using Istio and Datadog.
• Design IAM architectures with Okta, SAML/OIDC, SSO, RBAC, and zero-trust patterns.
• Enforce cryptography with NIST-certified modules and TLS config management.
• Develop automation and mentor engineers on compliance-aware design patterns.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted tooling to boost development efficiency.
