Job summary
Procore Technologies is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join its Compute Division and advance the FedRAMP initiative. Based in Austin, this hybrid role partners with product and engineering to design, build, and operate a scalable data platform for cloud-based construction software, ensuring security and compliance.
US citizenship is required for federal contract work. Immediate start available.
Qualifications
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience provisioning and operating cloud-native tools at scale.
- 4+ years of experience as a CKA, CKD.
- 8+ years of experience building and operating cloud-based, highly available, distributed, and scalable systems.
- Experience managing infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Direct hands-on experience in a FedRAMP compliant environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-gen data platform for distributed systems.
- Support engineering in the SDLC from requirements to rollout and support.
- Identify and propose solutions for platform gaps via proofs of concepts.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and IT to influence roadmap and add capabilities.
- Stay up to date with the latest data technology trends.
