Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer for AI Automation and Orchestration on the Government Engineering team in Austin, TX. You will design and build secure, scalable platform services within FedRAMP boundaries and mentor engineers on compliant engineering patterns.

Responsibilities include managing cloud traffic and service mesh, IAM architecture, cryptographic module enforcement, and aiding FedRAMP compliance while leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate platform delivery.

Formación

• 8+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience in FedRAMP-authorized environments (AWS GovCloud a plus).
• Strong programming fundamentals in Golang, TypeScript, or Python.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain platform services within FedRAMP boundaries.
• Manage cloud traffic, service mesh, and edge controls (Istio, Kong, Cloudflare).
• Lead migrations to compliant infrastructure pipelines.
• Implement IAM architectures with federation (SAML/OIDC), SSO, RBAC, zero-trust.
• Enforce NIST/FIPS validated cryptography across services and TLS.
• Advise on FedRAMP controls and regulatory mappings (NIST SP 800-53).
• Collaborate with security teams on ConMon and assessment readiness.
• Develop automation and mentor mid-level engineers on compliant design patterns.
• Leverage AI tools to improve coding efficiency and platform delivery.
