Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years directly supporting or operating in a FedRAMP-authorized environment.
• Proficiency in Golang, Typescript, or Python for platform infrastructure and automation.
• Strong IAM experience with SAML, OIDC, directory services, and zero-trust.
• FIPS 140-2/140-3 cryptographic knowledge and practical enforcement.
• Experience with high-throughput ingress/egress, service mesh (Istio) and edge tooling (Kong, Cloudflare).
• Kubernetes architecture, hardening, and secret management (OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno).
• Vault in FIPS mode for secrets management; familiarity with security standards and audits.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security, or CKS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain FedRAMP-compliant platform services.
• Lead network routing, edge controls, and service mesh using Istio, Kong, and Cloudflare.
• Drive migration strategies to centralized, compliant infrastructure pipelines.
• Design IAM architectures with SAML/OIDC, SSO, RBAC, and zero-trust patterns.
• Enforce NIST SP 800-53 controls and support continuous monitoring and audits.
• Develop production-grade automation and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Leverage AI-powered tooling to improve coding efficiency and platform delivery.
