MoonPay is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own PayBox end-to-end, partnering with our Chief Engineer and a focused team. You will identify critical problems, reason through complex trade-offs, and ship features from concept to production in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own significant PayBox end-to-end areas, from problem identification to production shipping.
• Drive 0→1 development and growth for newly launched product features.
• Build payment and peer-to-peer transfer experiences designed for AI interfaces.
• Create integrations across AI platforms, apps, and the PayBox ecosystem.
• Develop infrastructure and product experiences to bring new apps and integrations onto PayBox.
• Collaborate with Product to turn ambitious ideas into simple, usable experiences.
• Polish onboarding and UX to reduce friction for users.
• Reason from first principles on tough tech problems and make pragmatic decisions.
