MoonPay Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own PayBox end-to-end, taking it through next development phases and growth.

You’ll work closely with the Chief Engineer on a small, focused team in a founder-leaning role, shipping new capabilities and refining onboarding flows with an emphasis on AI-enabled interfaces. You’ll be responsible for designing and building across the PayBox stack, partnering with Product, and delivering high-quality experiences that scale in a fast-paced, remote

Responsibilities

• Own significant PayBox end-to-end areas from problem identification to shipping in production.
• Help guide the product through 0→1 development and growth phases.
• Build new payment and peer-to-peer experiences designed for AI interfaces.
• Develop integrations across AI platforms and the PayBox ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product to translate ambitious ideas into simple user experiences.
• Polish onboarding flow and UX to reduce friction and improve usability.
• Reason from first principles to solve hard technical and product problems.
• Be flexible across the stack to tackle high-impact issues.
• Employ AI to accelerate work while maintaining sound engineering judgment.
